Can low AMH affect my response to IVF stimulation?
Low AMH definitely made me nervous about how I’d respond to stimulation. I kept wondering if the number meant I’d get very few eggs, but I realised it’s more about predicting how the ovaries may respond to the meds than telling you whether IVF will work. Seeing that number can really mess with your head though, especially when you’re already going into stimulation hoping your body cooperates.
Low AMH n stim response is something i see come up a lot in these groups but never gone thru it myself since mines adeno not fertility related. For those whove done a cycle with low amh, did the higher med doses actually help get a decent number of eggs or was it still on the lower side regardless? Trying to understand how much protocol changes actually shift outcomes for this 🙏
