I got my AMH tested recently and it came back at 0.6 ng/mL, which honestly caught me off guard. I’m 31, my periods are regular and I’ve never really thought of myself as someone who needs to worry about fertility right now. My AFC was 5 on the scan and my FSH was 8.9, so now I’m sitting here looking at all these numbers and trying to understand what they actually mean together. I know one AMH result probably doesn’t tell the whole story, but it’s hard not to panic when you see a number that low. Has anyone else had similar numbers at this age? What did your doctor tell you and did you do anything differently after finding out?
Did your doctor say anything about why the AMH is this low at 31? I would have freaked out seeing 0.6 too tbh, specially when periods are normal.
