I completely understand how you feel. I can recall those terrifying moments when you see that your AMH levels are low and then start googling all kinds of info about eggs quality, IVF, egg freezing, and so on. 🤣 But trust me, please try not to be influenced by this one number. AMH level is just one of many factors related to fertility and there are lots of ladies with low AMH that managed to conceive naturally or with some help. Not all journeys are alike, so do not give up hope because of your AMH level.
I totally get why that number would scare you, especially at 28! I remember getting overwhelmed with all the AMH, egg quality, IVF stuff too 😅 But honestly, I learnt that AMH is just one piece of the puzzle and doesn’t tell the whole fertility story. I’d try not to panic just looking at that one number!
I get why this feels overwhelming 🙁 I remember how scary it was when I started seeing reports and trying to understand what every number meant. With endo, I’ve had my own share of fertility worries and it’s honestly hard not to think of the worst case scenario. I hope you get some reassuring answers soon. Would love to hear from others who had low AMH and still had a good outcome.
I can understand why this scared you! I remember when fertility became something I had to actively think about, it felt so strange because I always assumed things would just happen when the time was right. Then suddenly you’re looking at AMH, reports and IVF terms and it feels like your whole future is sitting in those numbers.
