Has anyone here been diagnosed with a transverse vaginal septum? What tests did your doctor use to find it? For those who had surgery to remove it, were you able to conceive naturally afterward?
Did your doctor tell you if yours is a complete or partial septum?
I was diagnosed with having a transverse vaginal septum following an examination and scans done by my physician. The surgeon told me that there is an option of surgery that could cure my condition depending on how thick or thin the vaginal septum is and its location. I was also concerned about conceiving naturally, and I found out that there is a possibility of conceiving following the procedure.
I had the same question when I was trying to understand what could actually be causing the problem. Did they diagnose yours through an MRI or was it found during an exam? And I’d really like to hear from anyone who had it surgically removed and then went on to conceive naturally.
Was yours found on an MRI or an ultrasound?
