I’m wondering what clinics normally do when the response to stimulation is much lower than expected. Do they usually change the meds and attempt another cycle, or can a poor response make them rethink the IVF plan altogether? Would really appreciate hearing what happened in your case.

I have seen clinics usually adjust the stimulation meds or protocol & try again, depending on what caused the low response. In some cases they may also rethink the IVF approach if the response keeps being poor but it doesn’t always mean IVF is off the table. Every case seems to be so different though. Would be really interested to hear what others experienced too.
