Hi, I went through surgery for adenomyosis myself, not the exact same procedure but I remember prepping for it the same way, going in with a hundred questions written down. What helped me most was asking Dr Jay Mehta very specifically about what the first 48 hours look like, since that is where most of my anxiety was. Mine ended up being so much easier and smoother than what I had built up in my head. Wishing you a smooth one this Friday, you are already doing the right thing by prepping questions in advance.

For me, the whole IUI process took around 2–4 weeks. I started with ultrasounds and some blood tests to monitor my cycle, then took medication to help with ovulation. Once the follicle was ready, I had a trigger shot and the IUI was done about 24–36 hours later. The actual procedure was super quick, and then came the hardest part, the dreaded two-week wait before testing.
