For endometriosis pain, treatment depends on how severe the pain is. Painkillers, hormonal treatments, heat therapy, & sometimes surgery may be recommended.

I’ve tried different approaches to managing endo pain, and for me it was never just about taking a painkiller and hoping for the best. Heat, rest and finding something that actually worked for my particular pain made a difference, but I’d definitely talk to your gyno about what’s appropriate for you because endo pain can be so different from one person to another.

I tried painkillers, heat, rest, pretty much everything But getting to the root of the pain helped me the most. It was such a relief to finally feel like, okay, I’m not just imagining this!

I was on Pregabalin after surgery too and I did notice some of the pain and nerve type symptoms coming back after stopping it. It was hard to tell whether it was the medication being stopped or just my body still recovering from surgery. I think everyone reacts differently though. Did u taper off it gradually or stop it completely?

I’ve wondered about this too. It seems like pain treatment really depends on the person. Some use painkillers, while others may need hormonal treatment or medication for nerve-related pain. I think it’s best to discuss the options with your gynae.
