How long does it take for the scar mark to go away??? Or does it remain the same?

Ohhh 3 months is still pretty early..! Mine was still visible around that point too and then slowly started fading. I wouldn’t expect it to look like the final scar yet. It takes time.

I totally understand the worry, I was really conscious about mine too. ❤️ Mine faded slowly over a few months and became much lighter with time. It didn’t disappear overnight, but it definitely got better. Try not to stress too much if yours is taking a while everyone heals differently.

It is totally fine at three months post laparoscopic surgery if you can see your scars. 🌿 They tend to keep fading and flattening during the next six to twelve months and even longer.

If your scars are small, then you can expect them to be barely visible in the future, but do not expect them to disappear completely. Try to protect them from sun exposure and avoid touching the area. You should definitely visit a surgeon or dermatologist if you have a scar that gets more and more elevated, becomes itchy or painful.

I used to check the scar every few weeks and wonder if it was going to stay like that 😅. It really does change slowly though. The texture and colour can keep settling for months, so 3 months is probably too soon to know what it’ll finally look like.
