I was just thinking about my endometriosis, and one question popped into my mind: can a baby develop endometriosis from breastfeeding?
I read somewhere that endometriosis can't be passed to a baby through breastfeeding. From what I know, breastfeeding is generally safe even if the mother has endometriosis.
I never really thought about this before, but it's actually a good question. From what I know, breastfeeding itself doesn't pass endometriosis to a baby. I'll definitely ask Dr. Jay Mehta about this in my next visit just to understand it better.
I actually wondered about this too. From what I know, endometriosis isn’t passed to the baby through breast milk, so breastfeeding itself shouldn’t cause it. I’d still ask your doctor if you’re worried though.
I can understand why you’d wonder about this. When you have endometriosis, it’s easy to worry about these things, especially when it comes to your baby. From what I know, breastfeeding is still okay. If you have any concerns about your baby, though, it’s best to ask your doctor.
