TBH, I didn’t notice much during pregnancy or right after having my kids. It was only after my periods came back that I started noticing some changes. I wasn’t sure if it was normal, so I mentioned it to my doctor.

I can’t really speak from the having children side, but I can relate to the symptoms changing over time. My periods were completely normal for years and then things slowly started getting worse, first the period pain and later the back and thigh pain too. That gradual change was actually what made me realise something wasn’t right and finally get checked.

Yes, mine actually changed after having children, although I know everyone’s experience can be so different. I’d be interested to know if anyone noticed a clear change in their periods, bloating or pelvic pain after pregnancy, especially if things had been manageable before.

Yes, I’ve wondered about this too! After having kids, I felt like my body just started reacting differently to things I’d previously managed pretty easily. Hormones, periods, digestion, fatigue... it all felt a bit more unpredictable. I’ve heard others say the same, so you’re definitely not alone!
