Did anyone else get told they had low AMH and completely panic?

I’m 28 and always thought I’d have plenty of time to think about kids, so hearing that my ovarian reserve is lower than expected really scared me. I’ve been reading so much about AMH, egg quality, IVF and egg freezing that my head is honestly spinning. I know AMH doesn’t tell the whole fertility story, but it’s still hard not to worry when you see that number. For those who had low AMH, what was your experience like? Were you able to conceive naturally or did you end up doing IUI or IVF? I’d really love to hear some positive stories too.

Good ovarian reserve yet needing more egg freezing cycles....

Scanty bleeding

We all know that PCOS can cause irregular periods, but I know a 27-year-old girl who has always had regular periods, although her bleeding usually lasted only 1–2 days. For the last three cycles, however, she has been bleeding for only 2–3 hours and then it completely stops. All her blood reports are normal. What could be the reason for such a sudden change in her menstrual flow?

I have stage 3 endo and AMH 1.1. Am I wasting time trying naturally?

I am 31 and had a laparoscopy last year where I was diagnosed with stage 3 endometriosis. A few lesions and adhesions were removed, but I was told endometriosis can still come back. My AMH after surgery came back around 1.1 and my AFC was 7.

We have been trying naturally for around 10 months now. My cycles are regular and I do ovulate, but I still get pelvic pain around my periods. My husband’s semen analysis was normal and my tubes are open.

I am getting confused about whether I should keep trying for some more time or start thinking about IVF. I know everyone’s situation is different, but I don’t want to wait too long and regret it later. Has anyone with stage 3 endometriosis been in a similar situation? How did you decide when it was time to move forward?

How long is the IUI process?

I am considering trying IUI & feeling a little unsure about what the whole process actually looks like. How many days does an IUI cycle usually take, from the start of the period to the procedure & then the waiting period for the pregnancy test? Also, how often do u need to visit the clinic during the cycle? I would really appreciate hearing about ur experiences, especially from anyone who has gone through IUI recently.

First IUI failed despite 3 mature follicles. Would you try another IUI or move to IVF?

Heluu I am 32F and trying to understand whether another IUI makes sense or if I'm just delaying IVF.

My reports before IUI:
AMH 1.2 ng/mL
FSH 7.1 IU/L
LH 6.4 IU/L
TSH 3.1 mIU/L
AFC 9
HSG showed both tubes were open.
Partner's semen analysis was normal with post wash total motile count of 21 million.

I was stimulated with Letrozole 5 mg from Day 3 to Day 7. Triggered with hCG when the follicles measured 22 mm, 20 mm and 18 mm. Endometrial lining was 9.4 mm on the day of trigger. IUI was done 36 hours later.

Unfortunately it was negative.

My fertility specialist feels another 2 to 3 IUIs are reasonable before considering IVF, but I'm not sure. I keep wondering whether one failed IUI actually tells us anything or if it's just too early to change course.

Has anyone had success after a failed first IUI with similar numbers? Or did you decide to move to IVF after one or two attempts? I'd really like to hear what helped you make that decision.

Why did my IVF numbers drop so much between retrieval and embryo formation?

I had 22 eggs retrieved but only 16 were mature and 11 fertilised. By day 5 i was left with just 4 embryos, and honestly i wasn't expecting such a big drop. I'm trying to understand which part of this attrition is usually the biggest issue. Did anyone else have similar numbers?

I was diagnosed with adenomyosis after years of thinking my heavy periods were just bad luck. I can soak through a pad every 1.5 to 2 hrs, pass large clots and my haemoglobin has dropped below 10 more than once because of it. Does anyone else have symptoms even when they're not on their period?
