Vulvar Cancer Treatment

Cancer of the Vulva is not common in women. When it occurs, it usually occurs in women beyond the age of 50 years.

One of the earliest symptoms for a patient having Vulvar Cancer is chronic itching and at times an associated foul smelling discharge.

Dr. Jay Mehta specializes in the following surgeries for treatment of Cancer Vulva:
  1. Inguinofemoral Block Dissection
  2. Radical Vulvectomy
  3. Genital Reconstruction with Gracilis Flap

Majority of the patients who undergo surgery for Cancer Vulva need post operative chemo and radiation.
